British Millerain Sahara 8 Staywax. This is a heavier weight, cotton fabric with a double pass of Wax for increased waterproofing. Staywax®, formerly known as Driden®, is British Millerains innovative washable waxed cotton. They use a special blend of waxes to create a fabric with a slightly drier hand than traditional wax, with the added benefit of being machine washable. Sahara is their signature Staywax™ finish.  It is suitable for a variety of outerwear designs for both men’s and women’s wear and accessories.

STAYWAX fabric and an excellent all round water proof material, soft to touch, matt in appearance, it is durable and will age with use. The British Millerain brand is synonymous with high quality waxed cotton products. Although this is a dry finish, waxed cotton can mark easily and may have marks if folded for delivery.
