This is a vintage kimono jacket, called a haori, that appears to be made for a man with its larger size and choice of design, but the sleeves are open like a woman's jacket. Regardless, this haori jacket is one of a kind.

The outer silk has a cityscape design, specifically New York City. It is a very detailed print with a bird's eye view of the city and the famous Empire State Building. 

The lining of this kimono jacket is just as special as the outer silk. Several postcards depicting popular tourist sites are scattered against a white background.  This jacket is really a tribute to the Big Apple!

We display these haori inside out to feature the lining when it is unique. All of the stitching is hidden, so these jackets can normally be displayed or worn (in the West, at least) either way.
